Founder & Managing Partner
Clark Eckhoff

Clark Eckhoff has spent more than two decades building and operating companies across telecom infrastructure and professional sports ownership — not advising from the sidelines, but running the operation and living with the results.

He began his career in wireless and telecommunications, serving as Director of Wireless Operations at Rhinelander Telecommunications, where he negotiated the acquisition of seven wireless licenses from the FCC and grew the company's value from $12 million to a $90 million sale. He later served as General Manager of Spiralight Network, managing a multi-state fiber network acquisition and expanding capabilities for AT&T Wireless and U.S. Cellular across Wisconsin.

In 1999, Eckhoff bought a failing baseball franchise and rebranded it as the Wisconsin Woodchucks, growing attendance more than 300% and leading the team to two Northwoods League titles over 13 years of ownership. He went on to own and operate the Valley Blue Sox of the New England League from 2012 to 2018, winning back-to-back league titles in 2017 and 2018. Across his ownership, Eckhoff's teams have produced more than 30 Major League players and over 200 MLB draft picks, including World Series MVP Ben Zobrist.

He currently serves as Assistant Athletic Director for External Relations at UW-Stevens Point, overseeing corporate partnerships, external marketing, and budgeting for the athletics department. He has also served on the boards of the Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau area and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marathon County, and spent more than two decades as a director of the North Central Mendota Gridiron Club supporting Wisconsin Badgers football. He holds a business degree from UW-Stevens Point and an MBA from UW-Madison.
